BUTTERFLY BAY

Logo, Identity Development

 

Butterfly Bay is a proposed boutique hotel and spa in the subtropics of the North Island of New Zealand. The goal of the development is to enhance and preserve the natural environment for the enjoyment of the guest, and to present an authentic experience of New Zealand culture, both Pakeha (colonial) and Maori. The logo embodies a sense of the Maori artistry of tatooing through the stylized, iconic imagery of a butterfly. Winner: logolounge.com

OLIVE TREE IMPORTS

Olive Tree Imports is a family owned import company focusing on gourmet food products. Its launch product is a premium olive oil from southern Greece. The logo conveys a mix of new and old with the free flowing hand drawn tree and classic script font. Winner: logolounge.com

WACHOVIA

Website, Marketing Promotions

 

Wachovia merged with First Union in 2001. As part of their company branding, a new website was created to reflect their new image. As part of the in-house design department for six months, my contribution was to create the design/format for all marketing promotions to be placed on the website.

DESTIHL RESTAURANT & BREW WORKS

Logo, Identity Development, Stationery, Menus

 

Destihl has debuted as an upscale restaurant and brew pub in Normal Illinois. Handcrafted beers and premium wines are complemented by brick oven pizzas, grilled meats and slow-cooked foods. The logo balances the upscale, contemporary restaurant flavor with a more informal and warm brewery feel. It

also incorporates an organic, grain border with a flame inside a circle. Indigo also created menus and stationery incorporating the new logo and brand.

ECOAMERICA

2009-2011 Annual Report

 

ecoAmerica is a non-profit that uses consumer research and strategic partnerships to create large scale engagement programs that build awareness, understanding and action for environmental solutions among mainstream Americans. Indigo Creative worked with ecoAmerica’s marketing director to create the 2009-2011 Annual Reports. They are utilized throughout the year to show information on various programs, leadership and financials. The reports are printed on 100% post-consumer fiber using soy based inks.

SOURCE TECHNOLOGIES

Game Development, Launch kit

 

Source Technologies announced concourse™, its latest product in the line of intelligent self-service kiosks. This launch kit includes a mylar pocket folder, the concourse product brochure, an interactive CD-ROM and a branded credit card for demonstrations. The brochure theme is “Change the Game”. The cover visuals build upon the ancient game called Go. The Go game board morphs into the concourse keypad, symbolic of change and strategy inherent in the market playing field.

CASA BRIOCHE

Founded by a couple from Venezuela, Casa Brioche fuses Venezuelan culture with the flavor of Old World European bakeries. This Old World feeling is achieved by pairing a stylized brioche hand drawn on the computer with brushstroke typography. Winner: logolounge.com

Source Technologies is a 25 year old technology company that has a range of products and services from self-service kiosks to MICR printing hardware and software. Working with the marketing department at Source Technologies, Indigo handled all front end design and collaborated with internal and external developers to build the website.

BAY AREA CLIMATE COLLABORATIVE

The Bay Area has been a global center of innovation for decades. Through the vision of the region's government, business and non-profit leaders the Bay Area Climate Collaborative is creating common direction and accelerating the clean energy economy and response to climate change. The site was then built in Wordpress, enabling BACC to update and edit their own content easily.

DEER PARK VENTURES

Deer Park Ventures is a private investment firm that acquires and builds private companies. The logo incorporates a shield, representing the strength of their leadership team. The reflection in the shield is a deer horn. The website visuals include old growth red trees along with a farmer cradling a seedling, reflective of the types of companies Deer Park acquires and creates.

ENSEMBLE THEATRE COMPANY

Capital Campaign, Marketing Materials

 

Ensemble Theatre Company is renovating a historic theater here in Santa Barbara, moving from the Alhecama Theater. Preparing for this renovation and move, Ensemble launched a capital campaign. Indigo Creative worked with Ensemble’s development and marketing staff and campaign board to create all the marketing materials for the campaign.

Domaine Staging accelerates the marketing of homes, while on the market for sale, and enhance their appeal to buyers. The marketing materials incorporate sophisticated photography along with bold, solid colors. This enables Domain Staging to stand out in their marketplace.

KRISTINE'S STUDIO

Kristine’s photographs capture the mood and personality of her subjects, from portrait work to vintage cars. Her fun personality shows through with her work, and also her great eye for light, point of view and framing up a shot. The design of her website reflects her playful, sophisticated style.

BALLANTYNE VILLAGE

Sales Kit

 

Ballantyne Village (Charlotte, NC) is a new live/work development, designed with a subtle Art Deco style. The Village has an independent movie theater along with retail shopping, restaurants and offices. The design of this sales kit reflects the sophisticated, deco style of the architecture. The pocket folder is printed on a heavy, ridged black duplex paper with white and gold foil stamping.

BLUE TANGERINE ART

Blue Tangerine Art is San Francisco based and makes it easy for burgeoning and established collectors to find excellent artwork from around the globe. The logo reflects an artist feel balanced with a contemporary, clean appearance. The logo colors could be none other than blue and tangerine.

Melissa Mahoney, the principal of Indigo Creative, is also an artist. She has created silk scarves inspired by her paintings They are for sale at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art Store, and expanding to other museum shops. mahoneyartwork.com

ANTHEM

Logo, Identity Development, Stationery

 

Anthem is a shop filled with luxurious home accessories, special gifts and unique furniture. The store itself has Italian limestone floors, classic columns and ornate moldings. Indigo created the logo and stationery which includes hang tags, note cards, business cards and other correspondence items. The design and printing mimic the detailed white molding in the store with blind embossing and then embellished with registered gold, foil embossing.
